Light carving a path through the fog of darkness

While it has a very good beat to it, I don't think this is a final boss theme. There's something about it that is just. . .off.

I wish I knew what, but I am very unskilled in the art of music.

I think of something more of a chase sequence, or a ship battle of some kind. It's almost like this song is a primer for the real fight yet to come.

Impressive..extremely impressive

The steady beat reminds me of an updated version of Cosmo Canyon from FFVII.

good use of a classic song...

But I have to say that unfortunately, I Fight Dragons beat you at this game.

awesome

you have no idea how many times me and my friends are gonna play this when we play left 4 dead 2 again. my only down here was that maybe you could have added more verses.

LOL Thanks! :D I've never had luck writing lyrics in the past, and I wanted to keep the youtubers from getting bored, so I kept it pretty short. I appreciate the sentiment though. :)

i like it.

this makes it sound kind of retro and like a good trance song to a sega game. in fact this seems like a theme to a Robo-Millia. maybe you could do something with "Keep the Flag Flying" or "Getting Down to Buisness"

Very impressive

This souinds like something that would be used in a game soundtrack such as Legend of Dragoon or in an anime. it has this surreal feel to it. I get the picture of someone walking down a park road in Japan during spring when the cherry blossom petals are all flying about. Well done, I may have to use this sometime.

Tilkanuts responds:

I can definitely picture that going along with this music.

Thanks for the kind review!

...wow...

It's perfect. Nothing too long or short. no one melody seems to overshadow the others. It loops extremely well and is a great atmoshpere builder. It makes me think of someone running around the assembly line floor in a factory. I look forward to hearing more from you.

great song

I agree with the others in that it is very relaxing and enjoyable. I can see that some think that it is too segmented, and it's understandable. too much repetiton can hurt a song's popularity however, it can be good if it was for something like a soundtrack to a movie or game. the chimes were amazing, it kind of reminds me of an old clock playing the westminister chime. All that said, still is great and awesome to work to.

Impressive!

I like the shifts in melody gradually coming together in harmony. I personally picture a rolling landscape with a sky changing colors and appearances with each new melody.

All I am is a memory. . .
