Yeah

We all go through it as artists, hell I'm just getting out of mine and starting to work again. The biggest problem is that it coincides with my return to school and the ungodly amount of homework I keep getting.

awesome

Even still you continue to pull off amazing feats of art. I see where you got the idea and this pic in particular sports happiness as well as that unsettled creepy look, like a stalker or someting. The media is interesting, reminds me of some of the work I did in drawing classes.

Impressive!

overall I love the horror/gothic look. the border is awesome, the darkness creeping in upon her with just a little bit of light in all of that sorrow, or hatred, depending upon how you take it. the chains are well done and is she crying blood? At any rate, it is superb but I can't help but feel that something is off, it's probably just me though. Reminds me to post the pic I did of Rena.

ScorpianX0 responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it ^^

as for the exact mood, it's suppose to be Depression, being the focus of rena's torture and isolation.... and No, she's not crying blood... what she's crying exactly, I couldn't tell you. I just made it black because I thought it fit well with everthingy else being dark and in gray-scale

funny

Good story and details, the layout is a bit of a pain though. other than that, great job.

Fatchaos responds:

Thanks, and yeah... I'm rather new on this whole comic genre, so the layout might be a little... messy XD

Wow . . .

I always wonder what new kind of thing you will draw, and you never disappoint. This reminds me of a horror story where a guy tries to chop down a tree and ends up becoming one. Still, amazing job, i still feel that someting is missing but i can't put my finger on it.

SmokeryDots responds:

Thank you! :-D

Ya, I know what you mean... Hmmm........... But what?:-)

I like

She has that look that just makes a person want to go, "Ah what the hell, no time like the present." and everytime i see it I think of the song Tear You Apart by She Wants Revenge, with a role reversal though. Still the style and tone are amazing. What is in the background though? blankets? i can't tell.

Fatchaos responds:

Heh, good that it made you think about something XD
And thanks!

Well, the background is a rather cheesy one, supposed to be light-toned stone...

I didn't focus on the background ^^;

personally i like a colored pencil approach

makes it feel like the heart and soul was put in it. besides, sometimes that sketchy look can make a drwing look good.

Afterhumanity responds:

True, but I still find a need to reduce the sketchyness to add some level of professional work. But yes, sometimes the sketches in the drawing does show that person's love and care for the work.

absolutely beautiful

The deatail on the skin is awesome, great job on capturing the spittle coming out of the monster's mouth, the blood and organs on the human look stunning. I can almost hear the bones cracking. the touch of fur reminds me that the monster was a remnant of some sort of animal. some drawings just don't need color. i prefer greyscale myself because it allows me to get a bit more detail in those hard to color spots, which is exactly why color drawings are a rarity with me. not to mention greyscale is a great way to play with the light in a setting.

All I am is a memory. . .
